Newborn Care Specialist

Newborn care specialists have also been called night nurses or baby nurses. Unless the NCS has a nursing license, these terms should not be used. The NCS is a  highly trained newborn expert that will lead and collaborate with parents on developmental milestones, work on sleep conditioning and implement a set schedule for newborn sleep. The NCS will provide new parents with support and much needed rest. Newborn care specialist contracts typically last 3-6 months. But some families request support for the first year.
